Lessons from baking chocolate chip cookies

Never lick your fingers if you spill vanilla on them. Never.
Salt and sugar are different. Don't mix them up. Not that I've done it.





 5. There is no such thing as too many chocolate chips.



 When in doubt, add coconut.
 Balance is key. Not too long in the oven, not too short.
 Always use cold butter.
But if you don't and your cookies turn out flat, you can always put them in your ice cream.
