Florida Part 1

Florida was a good time-- if I wasn't busy working then I was at the beach and thus not making time for the blog. I'm not going to edit any of these iphone pics, but just wanted to share what FL was like. I spent the first few weeks by myself then had some lovely visitors later.

 Got a bike while I was out there and found this primate sanctuary in my neighborhood:

Fell in love with Honeymoon Island and its cute swings, fab beaches, and free little library.

Basked in beach treasures on the daily:

My little bro got sent to Ft Myers one weekend so I drove down and we beached it up

This beauty walked up to me on the beach to tell me "happy flag day." 

Loved hitting up Clearwater beach. So crowded, but fun to see and meet people from all over the world. Wished I'd had my DSLR on this day- I thought the lighting looked so pretty on this lady. I also felt somewhat creepy taking her pic.

 Annnnd I did this by myself almost every night:

And the office, which I should have put at the beginning of the post but I'm most def not going to take the time to rearrange it. 

Part 2: hanging with the fam damily!

5 Year Anni

When me and Dan man got hitched, I made him promise that we would go somewhere every year for our anniversary.  

Honeymoon: Cruised to Mexico

Year 1: Vegas

Year 2: Zhangjiajie, China

Year 3: Cruised to Bahamas

Year 4: Goblin Valley 

Year 5: We decided since this was the big 5, we'd split it up into 2 celebrations. Part I: St George/Zion National Park (has sentimental value for us-- where we started dating) and Part II in Florida (I'll be there for an internship this summer).

We loved our hotel that has become our tradition every time we go down to St. George-- with an indoor outdoor pool. 

We hiked the East Rim @ Zion. 

We shopped. Our theme quickly became 'treat yo'self!'

We decided it was so fun we went back this weekend with Danny's fam. 

Cheers to 5 years of bliss! I can't believe how fast its gone. Love that guy more every day. 

Utah Lake

Caught Utah Lake around sunset on the ends of one of my runs last week.

Sometimes I like to come here and pretend I'm at the beach, or somewhere else, far from Provo.

Plus its kind of pretty.
